Pakatan to file 27 election petitions, says Tian Chua

KUALA LUMPUR: PKR will be filling 27 petitions in court soon over the results of the May 5 polls, its vice-president Tian Chua said on Thursday.

"We will coordinate the filing of the petitions with DAP and PAS, our allies in the Pakatan," he told Bernama.

Electoral candidates and political parties have 21 days from today to file the petitions.

This follows the gazetting of the election results on Wednesday by the Election Commission.

PKR won 30 of the 89 parliamentary seats secured by Pakatan Rakyat in the election. - Bernama
